Man/Men of the Year
This award is to recognize a New Mexico man/men who has/have helped further the efforts of the New Mexico CowBelles.
Congratulations to the 2023 New Mexico CowBelles Man of the Year,
Boe Lopez!
Nominated by the Silver Spur CowBelles, Boe is a 4th generation rancher from Springer, NM. Boe has always been there to lend a helping hand to the CowBelles organization from setting up for the Kids n Kows, as well as the Health Fairs, and helping set up for the Junior Livestock Sale at the Colfax County Fair. Boe has also helped with the annual Christmas Bazarre from preparing Frito pies, taking down tables and clean up duties. He also assists with the sales of NMCB Cookbooks and NM Beef is Great License plates. He is very involved in state and local organizations throughout New Mexico, and he understands the dedication and desire it takes to be a real leader. He has been a partner to NMCB for many years and the NM Beef Industry.
